Tracye A. Polson, Ph.D., serves as the Director of State and Federal Advocacy and Public-Private Partnerships in Mayor Donna Deegan’s administration. A licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Polson is a respected and experienced leader. Her role focuses on collaborating with state and federal officials to collaborate, coordinate, and leverage public and private resources to advance Mayor Deegan’s and the city of Jacksonville’s priorities. Prior to joining the Deegan administration, Dr. Polson maintained a full-time private psychotherapy practice seeing adults and couples healing from the many forms of relational trauma. Named Social Worker of the Year in 2018 by the NE Florida Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, she is a distinguished and experienced mental health professional. Dr. Polson received her Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from Smith College, is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville, class of 2021, and serves on their Board of Directors.
